Gratefulness Week-27

I am grateful for...

-Time with my son. School starts soon and our Summer-Fridays together will be ending.
-Total wellness in body, mind, and spirit.
I have been working really hard on me. I am eating well and moving well.
Some new body practices I am doing are chiropractic care, daily stretching, and Tai Chi.
I am continuing Pilates and adding in some Yoga soon.
All is well.
We have to take care of our bodies so that they will take care of us.

  1. You know, doing things for ourselves is just so important, especially with young children. Our society almost seems to frown upon genuine rest and reflection, but how to become the best versions of ourselves if we don't have it?

    Thanks for sharing, it is a good reminder of how good it feels to be good to yourself

  2. Gerri, you remind me that I have to make exercise and eating well a priority again. Sometimes I get caught in that stress trap and eat impulsively. I want to take better care of myself too. Thanks for sharing this today!

  4. Gerri -- Good for you for taking care of yourself. My favorite line that you wrote is "All is well." To me, that says it ALL.

  7. This is a good reminder Gerri. Lately I have let things go a little - well probably more like a lot. I used to exercise all the time but since I went back to school I am finding it harder to find the time. Excuses, excuses. The things you are doing sound good. I've never really tried Pilates or chiropractic care.
