Summer Highlights--The "D"

I was born and raised in the "D" or Detroit.
As an Airforce baby, I lived in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

3 years old, at my Nanny-Gerri's house, not a care in the world...

We came home and eventually settled in Detroit.
I moved away, but still visited family as much as I could.

This July, we made a trip downtown to check out a "festival".
Man, the Detroit River I grew up with, has changed so much.

BEFORE

AFTER

The new River Walk is amazingly beautiful and family friendly.

During the festival, Noah enjoyed the WaCkY rides

and the fountains.

It was a warm, sunny, fun-filled day...

much love
