My Boy

Noah creating at a Lego store in Chicago

I'm going to pick up my boy today.
He's been visiting with his grandparents for two whole days.

It has been lovely moving around as a unit-of-one instead of a unit-of-two.
Truth is, I miss him, and can't wait to feel his embrace.

much love

  2. First, thanks for the paci advice. I've started to lay the groundwork for someone called the Choo-choo fairy coming. My friend used a similar technique (we call the soother a choo-choo). Basically Deaglan knows that soon the choo-choo fairy is coming to take the choo-choos to give to a baby who needs them and will leave in their place a small toy. He talks about it and asks about it. We're down to naps and bedtimes only.

I have to go to work today for a half day and have mixed emotions. Last week for my friends' shower I was away from the baby for several hours too. I know soon it will be whole days. Honestly, Gerri, I understand the pain of that separation. I know that like Noah, my two will need to spend special overnight time with their grandparents - gulp!

Hugs! What a cool school he goes to - I'm assuming this is a classroom?

  3. Gerri,

I regret to say that it's been awhile since I've visited. I can't believe how BIG Noah is now. Wow. They grow up so fast.

I remember when my girls would have be away for awhile...it was so nice for the first day and then I would start really missing them:~)

You take good care of yourself and Noah:~)

p.s. Thanks for stopping by and saying happy blogoversary!
