It seems like I've been on a journey for so long trying to find my kindred folk.Working to find people who don't fit in a box, who you really can't label because they're bigger than that. A box can't hold them...
Looking for connection, longing for it even... I felt like I was on a journey that continually led to disappointment.
But, when I was least expecting it, the women came to me. Women who I can say are part of my tribe. Women who I can truly say that I have tribe connection, soul connection. Thankfully, the relationships continue to deepen. I'm blessed...Things are so much clearer, easier now. I have women I can share my thoughts, dreams, and fears with. I know that they're holding space for me. Holding me up as I hold them.
Wow, I hadn't realized what connection was possible until these kindred souls came my way.
Sitting here, I'm thinking that this connection will continue to deepen. I look forward to that. But, I can't even imagine how beautiful it will be because it's beautiful already...
Sending hopes that you find your tribe connection too. Everyone deserves this.

Real connection with, as you put it, kindred folk ... at 45, i'm just now discovering how good it feels - natural, and healing, and gentle, and oh, so supportive and full of hope.
